Since 1957, AUSCO, Inc. has been a world class actor in the design and manufacturing of precision fluid control valves for the aerospace industry, both military and commercial. Innovative engineering design, rigorous manufacturing techniques and uncompromising quality at AUSCO, Inc. continue to be the keys of the company's success. With its extended experience of over 50 years in custom fluid control components, AUSCO, Inc. provides its customers with the most adequate and reliable custom products for almost any type of application.
Hard seat check valves utilitize metal-to-metal sealing that affords years of reliable service. Hardened stainless steel poppets provide resilience in even the most erosive conditions, hence resulting in increased valve life and repeatable crack pressure.
Designed for zero leak applications, AUSCO, Inc. soft seat check valves combine a primary metal-to-metal sealing with a secondary seal consisting of an elastomeric o-ring or VespelĀ®. The main load is taken by the metal-to-metal seal, reducing o-ring abrasion and wear. This provides a very reliable and repeatable crack pressure, usually typical of hard seat valves.
Special designs are available for applications that require low pressure drop. Low pressure drop reduces system losses and improves system efficiencies. AUSCO, Inc. low pressure drop check valves typically have less than 25% of the pressure drop of similarly-sized standard rated valves.
Alternately, for a given pressure drop, a smaller valve than a standard rated unit can be designed where space is limited and when weight is a concern.
Pilot-Operated Check Valves are manufactured in two styles - "normally open" and "normally closed". Normally open valves allow flow through the circuit until a pilot pressure is applied, closing the valve. Normally closed valves check the flow in a circuit until a pilot pressure is applied, opening the check valve. These valves do not depend on the pressure between the inlet and outlet to operate.
